Los Lonely Boys

Los Lonely Boys will play a free KFOG show at the Morris Dailey Auditorium on the campus of San Jose State Thursday, March 24, 7pm to benefit MHC’s music education programs and to promote their new forthcoming album Rockpango before its release the following week, as well as some of your old favorites.

We ask that all attendees make a $10 donation at the door to benefit the Mexican Heritage Corporation (MHC). MHC produces the San Jose Mexican Heritage & Mariachi Festival, the largest Latino cultural event in the nation, celebrating its 20th Anniversary September 18-25. Revenues from the Festival support music education programs for low-income and underserved students and families. A kid's brain on music education means better grades and success in school while also providing a a path to self discovery, self-discipline and pride. MHC music education programs deliver hope and discovery through music. You can also donate now on this website or by calling 408-920-6073.

Playing a unique brand of music that they call "Texican Rock 'n' Roll," Los Lonely Boys have earned a huge following nationwide since their first album debuted in 1997. The band consists of the Garza brothers: Henry (guitar), Jojo (bass), and Ringo (drums). Raised in San Angelo , Texas , the brothers are following in the footsteps of their father, Enrique Garza, whose group, The Falcones, played the Texas conjunto circuit in the 1970s and '80s.

With three albums to their credit -- and a fourth scheduled for release on March 29 -- Los Lonely Boys are making their mark in the Latino community and beyond. This YouTube video gives a taste of what's in store on their new album, Rockpango:

For an even better glimpse of the band's newest songs, don't miss their FREE concert at SJSU's Morris Dailey Auditorium on Thursday, March 24, at 7pm. The concert is presented by KFOG radio and MHC, with sponsorship from the San Jose Hilton and Casa Vicky Restaurant.
